What is the NCTC?

The National Cable Television Cooperative, Inc. (NCTC) is a Kansas not-for-profit corporation that operates as a programming and hardware purchasing organization for its member companies who own and operate cable systems throughout the United States and its territories. NCTC is located in Lenexa, Kansas.


NCTC’s Mission

The NCTC seeks to maximize current and future opportunities to ensure the profitability, competitive stature and long term sustainability of its member companies. It achieves this by:

1) Reducing member operating and capital costs through the negotiation and efficient administration of cooperative purchasing of business goods and services at superior prices and terms.

2) Providing value through the exchange of information, member education and other activities determined by its Board of Directors and Senior Management to be beneficial to its members.

3) Monitoring future industry developments and evaluating new technologies and other opportunities that may provide material benefit to its members through new or enhanced products and services.
